Pilot baba aashram

Pilot Baba Ashram is located at Ghyampe Danda Path, Gundu. It is a very peaceful place at the top of the hill. It is a piece of attraction for both hikers and riders and also for picnic spot. Pilot Baba Ashram is connected to Surya Binayak Bhaktapur with a good black topped road. The way through the jungle to the uphill is amazing. It is covered with rhododendron all over the jungle in the spring. The beauty of the way is enhanced by the beautiful scene through the way.

Being at the top of the hill, Pilot Baba Ashram is also popular for the wonderful view of the Kathmandu city from there. It is actually a mediation place of a Indian spiritual guru  who worked as a fighter plot in Indian Air Force. He spent many years roaming and choose a beautiful spot to built his ashram. It is a place with religious as well as touristic significance.  

Pilot Baba Ashram is about 15 mis from Suryabinayak temple on bike or 2 hrs of walking through a good way up to the ashram. If you want to spend a special weekend with friends or family to a picnic kind of thing, Pilot Baba Ashram is there for you. Have a trip and enjoy the beauty of nature.

'Garden of Dreams'

Garden of Dreams, situated at midst of the Kathmandu city, is a neo classical and historical garden. It was built by late Kaiser Sumsher Rana in early 1920s. It was built as a private garden of Kaiser Rana. Kishor Narsingha, a prominent architect  who designed Singha Durbar, designed and supervised the construction of the Garden.
