Nagarkot

Nagarkot, located about 32 kilometers from valley, is a village packed with hotels, stacked up on a ridge facing one of the broadest possible views of the Himalayas. Many wish upon arrival that they would have planned one more day to stay. Nagarkot commands one of the broadest views of Himalayas in the Kathmandu valley(8 out of 13 Himalayan ranges). This includes Annapurna range, Manaslu range, Ganesh himal range, Langtang range, Jugal range, Rolwaling range, Everest range and Number range with views of Kathmandu valley and Shivapuri National Park. The simlest and cheapest way to get Nagarkot from Kathmandu is to take a bus from 'Bhaktapur Bus Termial' (around 1.5 hrs). It is best to travel by private cars or taxi and go through all way there. Pilot baba aashram

Pilot Baba Ashram is located at Ghyampe Danda Path, Gundu. It is a very peaceful place at the top of the hill. It is a piece of attraction for both hikers and riders and also for picnic spot. Pilot Baba Ashram is connected to Surya Binayak Bhaktapur with a good black topped road. The way through the jungle to the uphill is amazing. It is covered with rhododendron all over the jungle in the spring. The beauty of the way is enhanced by the beautiful scene through the way. Being at the top of the hill, Pilot Baba Ashram is also popular for the wonderful view of the Kathmandu city from there. It is actually a mediation place of a Indian spiritual guru  who worked as a fighter plot in Indian Air Force. He spent many years roaming and choose a beautiful spot to built his ashram. 'Garden of Dreams'

Garden of Dreams, situated at midst of the Kathmandu city, is a neo classical and historical garden. It was built by late Kaiser Sumsher Rana in early 1920s. It was built as a private garden of Kaiser Rana. Kishor Narsingha, a prominent architect  who designed Singha Durbar, designed and supervised the construction of the Garden. It is bounded by high walls on all its sides and inside the great walls lies a beautiful garden consisting of pavilions, fountains, decorative garden furniture , verandas, urns and birdhouses. Today Garden of Dreams is considered as one of the most attractive tourism landmark in the city. It is also called as Garden of six seasons. NamoBuddha

Namo Buddha or Takmo Lüjin,  located at kavre district, is an important Buddhist pilgrimage site of Nepal. It is measured to be around 40 km from Kathmandu valley. Located on the slightly elevated land, it is a pleasant and out-of-the way place. It is a quiet and peace place and can be a good destination for peace lovers. Its environment is clean and healthy, no pollution, and the natural air is so fresh and cool. In the morning the place is brightened up by the beautiful sunrise and a beautiful range of snowed Himalayas and in the evening with the wonderful view of the sunset.  From Buddhist point of view it is one of the most important religious sites in Nepal.
